PORTRAITS

Sometimes when I am chilly, I tie a bandana around my neck. (It is less heat than a turtleneck.) Ainsley was visiting and wanted one too. It melted my heart. Oil. Unfinished.

My husband Mickey was the first oil portrait I've done in a long time. I took a class with Janet McGrath and she got me started. This is Jake and Taylor. Oils. Oil portrait of Jamie, done for his Grandma, my friend, Frances. Jamie was later done as a pencil sketch to match a portrait of his sister.
This is an acrylic portrait of Maddy. Ainsley loves to paint at the picnic table. Oils I painted Ainsley in old fashioned dress and soft colors.Oils.

This was my entry for  2008 SDP certification. I got a score of 70. 75 is passing.
